Jennie of the international sensation Kpop girl group BLACKPINK is the new of Dashing Diva, a global nail-care brand.
Thursday, Dashing Diva states that the company picked Jennie as its model because her image suits the brand.
“Jennie is not only a leading K-pop star but also a wannabe for many women in their 20s and 30s,” the brand said in a statement. “We believe we will be able to create positive synergy with Jennie.”
Jennie will start her promotional activities with the brand, alongside the launch of Dashing Diva’s new product “Glaze,” a cruelty-free gel-nail line with a “radiant and voluminous look.”
The product will be available on the brand’s online shopping mall on April 13.
Prior to the release of “Glaze,” Dashing Diva posted an Instagram video featuring Jennie, which gathered attention from the group’s fans around the world. As of Monday, the clip has more than 40,000 views.
The brand is reported to release another promotional video featuring its new face on April 13.
Dashing Diva was established in New York in 2001 and entered the Korean market in 2015. Currently, the brand is sitting on No.1 in the “self-decorating” nail art market. Before Jennie, the brand had popular singer-actress Suzy as its face.
